(KNSI) — The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating after two people were shot to death Wednesday night.
According to investigators, they were called to shots fired in the 2800 block of Colfax Avenue South at about 11:35. They found a car with a man and a woman inside. Both of them had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. She was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment.
Around five minutes later, police responded to a call of a “male down in the hallway of an apartment building” about a block away from the first shooting. He was also pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are working to determine if the two shootings are related and, if so, how.
No arrests have been made.
