(KNSI) – Lumber One Development Company will ask the Sauk Rapids City Council to amend a Planned Unit Development agreement for a second wing of the Windsor Estates neighborhood.
It wants to build 24 homes on multiple cul-de-sacs across 9.4 acres near 11th Avenue Northeast and 29th Street Northeast. Some of the lots would be as small as 8,400 square feet, less than a fifth of an acre, which is below the minimum allowed in the current PUD. The largest lots would be over 63,000 square feet.
The public hearing on the change will take place at Monday’s meeting. The developer says the small lots will allow some of the homes to be more affordable.
There are no other items on the regular agenda. The meeting will begin at the Sauk Rapids Government Center at 6:00 p.m.
