(KNSI) – Cirque Mechanics is coming back to the College of St. Benedict.

The last time the troupe was here wowed a sold-out audience with an incredible portrayal of life under the big top. Executive Director of Fine Arts Programming for St. Benedict Tanya Gertz says the performance on Saturday, February 18th, will be completely different, but no less special.

“The show last time was focused on celebrating circus. And this show will be celebrating wind and so it will be really fun to see what it will end up looking like. I can’t wait! The images of this two-story windmill are unreal.”

Cirque Mechanics: Zephyr is set to soar at the Escher Auditorium starting at 7:30 p.m. It will feature two halves separated by a 15 to 20-minute intermission.

Gertz says it is flashy and proud of it.

“The person who created Cirque Mechanics is a veteran of Cirque du Soleil, so it is undeniably a ‘showy’ show with lots of oohs and ahhs and the joy of hundreds of people gasping together.”

Gertz encourages you to get your tickets early. A link is here.
