(KNSI) — A new group for LGBTQ+ youth is being offered at The Village Family Service Center in St. Cloud.
The ten week therapy group Pride Teens will teach participants about identity, relationships, coping skills and more in a supportive, affirming, and accepting culture. The meetings are in person and run from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursdays starting March 9th. The group is open for 13 to 18-year-olds who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual or pansexual.
Insurance is accepted, and grant funding may be available.
The Village Family Service Center is at 110 6th Avenue South, #100, St. Cloud. Registration is available by calling 320-253-5930.
The center works across Minnesota and North Dakota through behavioral health and community services, including mental health counseling, in-home family therapy, addiction treatment, financial counseling, employee assistance programs, and more. Click here to learn more.
