(KNSI) – A level three predatory offender is moving to a new home in St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud Police Department says Nathan Christopher Braun will move to the 100-block of 12th Avenue North on Monday. A public notification regarding this registrant will be made available via the City of St. Cloud website on December 26th, 2022. The SCPD is releasing the information according to Minnesota statute.

The man spent a little more than five years behind bars for carrying on a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl. He had repeated sexual contact with the girl in 2015 and 2016 at homes in Foley and Peirz. At the time, Braun was 24. According to the court record, he told the victim he was 17 and then said he was 19. Braun was sentenced in September 2017 after being convicted of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.

He appealed his conviction three times, and his sentence was upheld each time. Braun has served his time and is free to come and go as he pleases.

According to the Minnesota Department of Corrections, level three predatory offenders are the most likely to re-offend.
