(KNSI) — The CentraCare Wishbone 5K Run, Presented by CentraCare M Physicians Orthopedics, is coming up Thursday morning at 8:00.
Race Organizer Evin Haukos says it’s a perfect day for a workout before a feast. “You’re going to go home and potentially eat a little more than usual. So, it doesn’t hurt to make sure you’re staying active that day to feel great.”
The morning also features a 1K race for kids.
Haukos says racers will get something different this year. “This year, we’re not doing T-shirts. We’re actually doing those really cool racer beanie hats. So, everybody who registers will get one of those, which is great. I would get there now to make sure you can secure your place for one of those.”
