(KNSI) – CentraCare Health is holding a free cancer screening and prevention event on Tuesday, November 29th. It will run at the Coborn Cancer Center next to the CentraCare Health Plaza from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
According to doctors, screening increases the chances of detecting certain cancers early when they might be easier to treat. The clinic’s Dermatology department, Breast Center and Digestive Center are offering screenings. Learn about prevention and screening for breast, colon, HPV, kidney, lung, melanoma and prostate cancers.
People can get a free skin check, radon test kit, tour the giant colon and get questions answered by health care professionals. Pre-registration is required, and guests must wear a mask. To schedule an appointment, call 320-229-5100.
