(KNSI) — Friday is Veterans Day. All city, county, state, and federal offices are closed in observance of the special day. Most libraries are closed. There is free parking downtown St. Cloud, and there is no mail, but package delivery services such as UPS and FedEx will be operating.
There are several goodies, freebies, special discounts, and treats for veterans today. These are good at participating locations only. Certain restrictions may apply.

Applebees is offering veterans, active duty military, Reserves, and National Guard members a free meal from a special menu.
Casey’s General Stores are offering vets free coffee.
Crooked Pint Ale House is offering veterans and active military a free meal at participating locations.
Participating Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers locations is giving veterans and current military personnel cards for a complimentary Freddy’s original double combo meal. No purchase is necessary to receive or use the card.
Green Mill is giving current or past military members a free meal when they dine in.
Veterans can choose free Red, White and Blue Pancakes or a Pancake Combo from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The deal is for dine-in only at participating IHOPs.
Little Caesars is giving away a free 4-piece Detroit-style deep dish pepperoni pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product for veterans and active military members at participating stores.
Olive Garden is offering a free entree from a special menu.
Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is offering servicemembers and veterans a free Magnificent Seven meal at participating locations.
Red Lobster is offering military guests a free Walt’s Favorite Shrimp meal.
Red Robin is offering veterans a free Red’s Tavern Double when dining in.
St. Cloud Metro bus is offering free rides to service members on Veterans Day.
Veterans, active duty service members, and military spouses can get one free 12 ounce hot brewed coffee at participating Starbucks locations.
Taco John’s is giving vets a free meal when they dine-in.
Texas Roadhouse will distribute meal vouchers at participating locations from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The vouchers can be redeemed for a dine-in or carry-out meal from a select menu.
Wendy’s offers a free breakfast combo for active military and veterans at participating locations from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. for veterans and active duty military.
