(KNSI) – A St. Cloud man is accused of headbutting a woman and threatening her with a knife.
Police were called to a home in the 700 block of 33rd Street South on Sunday afternoon. The victim told officers that Brandon Desean Hines and her got into an argument, and he headbutted her in the nose, causing it to bleed. She says the 28-year-old grabbed her and threw her over a couch and onto a table, causing the table to break.
Hines allegedly choked the woman with his arm. According to the criminal complaint, they ended up in the kitchen, where Hines grabbed a knife and said he could kill her. She says he then slashed the knife down, cutting her. Officers observed three scratches consistent with cuts on the victim’s left hand.
Hines has been charged with felony threats of violence and two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault. Bail was set at $50,000. His next court appearance is December 5th.
