Nine Sartell Sabres Commit To Playing In College

(KNSI) – Nine Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres committed to a college program Wednesday as part of National Signing Day.

Three athletes each from the baseball, soccer, and volleyball teams were part of the ceremony. The Boys of Summer had the only Division One commits. Kade Lewis, who caught fire during the Sabres undefeated romp through the Section 8AAAA bracket, including two home runs against top-seeded St. Michael-Albertville, is off to play at Butler University in Indianapolis. Tyler Phelps-Hemmesch is sticking closer to home. He’ll take to the diamond for the University of Minnesota.
