(KNSI) – Stearns County residents have more places to vote ahead of next week’s election and extended hours.
Starting Tuesday, November 1st, an absentee voter can drop off their ballot at Melrose City Hall. The site increases the number of polling places from two to three. Voters can still bring their absentee ballot to St. Cloud City Hall and the Stearns County Service Center in Waite Park between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday Through Friday.
Voters in Cold Spring, Paynesville, Sartell, St. Augusta, St. Joseph and Sauk Centre can vote at their city’s office during regular business hours. All locations mentioned will take absentee ballots on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A drop box is available 24/7 at the Stearns County Service Center.
Also, starting Tuesday, people can insert their ballot directly into the counting machine.
