(KNSI) — Today is Columbus Day, a federal holiday not recognized by either Minnesota Governor Tim Walz or President Joe Biden.
There is no mail today, but UPS and FedEx are operating as usual. State courts are open, but U.S. District Court is out of session. Most banks are open, and so is the stock market, as are gas stations, grocery and drug stores.
Parking will be enforced at meters, lots and ramps in St. Cloud, and the city offices are open.
The State of Minnesota and some cities have declared today Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
