(KNSI) — Three people are expected to be OK after their canoe capsized on the Mississippi River Monday afternoon.
According to the St. Cloud Fire Department, it happened about 12:45 just south of the River Bluffs Boat Landing. Two rescue boats were launched, and crews searched the river. They found the three in the water and a kayak nearby. Rescuers and someone from Clearwater Outfitters helped bring them to the boat landing, where they were checked out by Mayo Ambulance.
The three were treated on scene for cold-related injuries and released.
