(KNSI) – If you’ve shopped at the Sartell Coborn’s store recently, you may have been helped out by one of the state’s best baggers. Customers will want to seek out Aiden Gallagher’s line when they’ve finished adding to their cart.
The Minnesota Grocers Association held its 34th Annual Best Bagger Contest this past Saturday in St. Paul. Gallagher finished as runner-up, being judged on attitude, proper bag-building technique, speed, style, and weight distribution. He received a trophy and cash reward for coming in second place.
The fastest contestant filled two bags in around 54 seconds. The winner of the balance award added to his bags until they were separated by a mere 0.04 pounds.
