(KNSI) – It is your last chance to donate school supplies to the St. Cloud Community Outpost.
The police department will be accepting items until 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Donations can be dropped off at the COP House, 600 13th Street South, or the St. Cloud Police Department. Officials are asking for crayons, colored pencils, erasers, folders, glue sticks, highlighters, notebooks, pencils, pens, and pencil sharpeners. The supplies will go to families who are struggling to afford the necessities.
Last week, the COP House got a donation of 300 backpacks. Those packs will be filled with supplies based on requirements for elementary students in St. Cloud Public School District 742.
The school supply giveaway is Thursday between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the COP House. There are no requirements or costs. The giveaway will also include food and fun activities.
