(KNSI) – The lockdown at Mall of America has been lifted after a report of shots fired Thursday afternoon.

Andy Paras, a news director based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, was shopping when people began running out of the building. He posted this video on his Twitter page. Shelter in place orders can be heard.

Bloomington Police confirmed shots had been fired, but a location inside the mall was not mentioned.

Witness accounts inside the mall say it appears a fight escalated into a shooting.

Bloomington Police say the lockdown has been lifted as of 5:45 p.m. and that the scene is secure. They say the suspect fled the mall and no victims have been found. The mall will be closed for the remainder of the evening.
