(KNSI) – Highs today are expected in the mid-80’s, perfect weather for the cold-blooded critters in the spotlight at the Benton County Fair. A reptile and amphibian zoo is scheduled until 6:00 p.m. in the Activity Area. They’re back tomorrow as well.
The first entertainment act is the sunflower puppet, who comes to life at 11:30 at the Cottonwood Stage. 4-H presents an aerospace show at the Horse Arena at noon. Also opening then is the Midway and the beer garden.
Save room for some sweets, in addition to elephant ears and corn dogs. A cake contest starts at 1:00 in the craft building. Kids activities will be available in the 4-H Building and rabbits are judged in the arena at the same time.
Andy Austin steps onto the Cottonwood Stage at 3:30. Tonight’s grandstand event is the always popular truck pull at 6:00. The primetime entertainment includes Gig Noonan, a classic rock and country acoustic guitar duo at 7:00 on the Cottonwood stage. Midnight Pandemic goes on at 8:00 at the beer garden stage.
