(KNSI) – A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a quadruple shooting in St. Cloud last month.

Police executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 1000 block of 1st Street Northeast in Sartell and arrested 20-year-old Jamarcus Jamond Morris. A judge signed a warrant charging Morris with four counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. Morris was taken to the Stearns County Jail without incident. He is being held on $1,000,000 bail.

Last month, prosecutors charged 26-year-old Bryant Garth II for his alleged role in the shooting and issued a warrant for Daquan Ledbetter. Police say the group drove up in an alley between 5th Avenue South and 6th Avenue South near 11th Street South and began shooting toward a group of people on 11th Street.

Four people were hit, including a 15-year-old boy shot in the neck and shoulder. A 21-year-old was shot in the head, another 21-year-old in the chest, and a 19-year-old in the elbow. The criminal complaint says 33 cartridge casings from a .380 and a .9mm handgun were recovered from the scene. There was also damage to parked vehicles and nearby window frames. Investigators say the three shot at the victims, but evidence suggests the victims did not shoot back.

Witnesses told police there was an assault at a gas station the day before the shooting.
