(KNSI) — A suspect in a quadruple shooting earlier this month has been arrested.

According to court documents filed in Stearns County District Court, at 5:47 p.m. on July 6th, Bryant Garth II, Daquan Ledbetter, and another man got out of a car that had driven up in an alley between 5th Avenue South and 6th Avenue South near 11th Street South, and began shooting toward a group of people that were on 11th Street. Four people were hit, including a 15-year-old boy shot in the neck and shoulder. A 21-year-old was shot in the head, another 21-year-old in the chest, and a 19-year-old in the elbow.

The criminal complaint says 33 cartridge casings from a .380 and a .9mm handgun were recovered from the scene. There was also damage to parked vehicles and nearby window frames. Investigators say the three shot at the victims, but evidence suggests the victims did not shoot back.

Witnesses told police there was an assault at a gas station the day before the shooting. Investigators say messages were sent between the shooters and the victims, with one message sent from someone involved with the argument to one of the victims. The criminal complaint does not say if the messages contained any threats.

Garth has been charged with four counts of second-degree assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A warrant is out for Ledbetter’s arrest. The driver is still under investigation and has not been identified.

Prosecutors have filed a motion to tack aggravating factors onto Garth’s charges, citing his convictions as a violent offender.

Unconditional bail is set at $600,000. Bail is $400,00 with conditions. His next court appearance is August 12th.
