(KNSI) – The Chief Executive Officer of Metro Bus recently received a prestigious honor. Ryan Daniel was named Gerald Anderson Member of the Year at the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials.
The 51st COMTO gathering was held last week in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The award recognizes someone who shows great teamwork and helps create growth in public transportation.
Daniel is recognized as a name to watch in the industry, having served on COMTO’s Emerging Leaders Subcommittee for five years.
COMTO focuses on making the industry more inclusive, open to minority individuals, veterans, and people with disabilities. It also advocates for minority contractors and small business owners who help build public transportation infrastructure.
