(KNSI) – The Initiative Foundation is asking for support to aid Randall after last month’s historic rain.
In a press release, the organization says the city got up to 12.3 inches of rain on June 23rd and 24th, with damages expected to exceed $2 million. Funds raised so far to help are just under $100,000. The money will go to property owners who don’t have flood insurance and are looking at significant repairs.
Also joining in the effort is the Morrison County Area Foundation. A link for you to add your own donation is here. Your contribution will go to help 40 homes and businesses that were affected.
Volunteer cleanup crews will be on-site Saturday to scrape mold, fix heating and air conditioning systems, and continue to dry out the damaged structures to make them livable again.
