The 7:00 p.m. opening ceremony for Granite City Days will happen inside the Ritsche Auditorium in Stewart Hall on the campus of Saint Cloud State University. The concert scheduled for immediately afterward will also take place away from the heat and the possibility of thunderstorms.
The St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra has a free performance to tie in with the school’s Lemonade Art Fair and Concert event. Originally slated for the Atwood Center Mall outdoors, forecast uncertainty about the potential for severe thunderstorms tonight is moving the 7:30 show to SCSU’s performing arts facility.
The fair continues rain or shine, with 150 vendors and organizations on hand. There’s fun for the kids and works in every possible medium imaginable. Some sights in store for attendees heading to campus throughout the evening are below.
