(KNSI) — An alleged package thief was arrested this week at a St. Cloud apartment complex.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to the complex on the 6200 block of County Road 120 after someone saw a man entering three buildings on June 11th and 12th and removing packages from the mail area and television from the commons area. Police identified the alleged thief as Wesley Allen Haflich. An officer said he recognized Haflich from an earlier traffic stop.
On June 14th, police were called to another apartment complex for a report of a suspicious person, and Haflich was arrested at the scene. The criminal complaint says Haflich admitted to taking the packages and the TV in a taped statement.
He has been charged with three counts of felony second-degree burglary. Bail was set at $5,000. He is due back in court on July 11th.
