(KNSI) — The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota are rejoicing after a fundraiser at a local car wash rang up more than $8,400.
The fundraiser held at Crew Carwash from May 13th through the 15th brought in $8,456.33. Customers could get a free ultimate wash for a freewill offering.
President Mary Swingle says, “Crew Carwash has been very supportive of Boys & Girls Clubs across the country, so we are excited to build a partnership with this business locally.”
In a Facebook post, the organization said they were “thrilled” with the amount brought in.
