(KNSI) — Premier Marine says its new 85-acre professional boat building and design campus in Big Lake will be operational this summer.
The new manufacturing facility is 150,000 square feet with an accompanying 30,000 square foot fiberglass and tooling operation. The new building will replace the current headquarters in Wyoming, Minnesota, and is scheduled to be operational by this summer. It will be capable of manufacturing more than 5,000 boats a year.
“We’re very excited about our future here in Big Lake,” said Chris Carlson, Envision Company owner. “The city has been exceptional to work with, and the community offers a strong workforce for future growth. Once we are fully operational, we anticipate having more than 400 employees.”
Envision Company acquired Premier Marine in the spring of 2021.
