(KNSI) — There are several events around the area to mark Memorial Day weekend.

Sunday, at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, there will be music from the Richfield Symphonic Band at 1:30 pm, followed by a special program at 2:00 pm.

On Memorial Day, Fleet Farm is teaming up with Taps for Veterans to honor fallen soldiers by participating in the third annual Taps Across America. Buglers will sound Taps at 3:00 pm, at all Fleet Farm stores, including the Waite Park location. For more information, click here.

It will be a busy day in Holdingford, as the American Legion Post 211 and the Holdingford VFW Post 5169 have a number of Memorial Day services at several area cemeteries and the Holdingford Veterans Park. Each stop will include a brief ceremony, 21-gun salute, and Taps.

The Melrose American Legion Memorial Day service, will be held at 9:30 am at the American Legion Post 101 Parking Lot.

The St. Cloud MetroVets Memorial Day commemoration will be at the St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex starting at 10:30, with a parade and a program starting at 11:00.

Paynesville area Memorial Day Services get underway at the Paynesville High School Auditorium starting at 9:30 am.

Richmond area Memorial Day services will be held thanks to the Richmond American Legion Post 292. There will be a short ceremony at two cemeteries. One at 9:30 and the other at 10:00.

Sauk Centre Memorial Day services are at Greenwood Cemetery at 11:00 am. The Sauk Centre Paul F. Donart VFW and American Legion Post 67 host this memorial event jointly.

St. Mary Help of Christians in Saint Augusta will be holding a memorial and Mass at 8:00 am.

St. Joseph Parish in St. Joe has a 9:00 am. Mass and ceremony following with the St. Joseph American Legion Post 328. There will also be a stop at the St. Joseph American Legion Post for coffee and donuts.

St. Wendelin of Luxemburg has a 9:30 a.m. Mass and memorial with the St. Augusta Post 621.

The St. Stephen Legion Post 221 will be holding a short ceremony at
St. Stephani (Also known as St. Stephen) Cemetery at 9:00 am and at
Brockway Cemetery in Sartell at 10:30.
