(KNSI) — A 59-year-old Eden Valley man died after a motorcycle crash near Eden Lake Township on Friday.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was called in by someone who said they did not witness what happened but believed the driver was unresponsive.
Crews arrived, and the driver, Michael John Holthaus, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say it appeared Holthaus was driving south on County Road 162 near County Road 43 and lost control on a curve. The motorcycle went into the west ditch and rolled, ejecting Holthaus.
