(KNSI) — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Benton, Morrison, and Todd Counties.
The watch is in effect until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
A watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms. The Storm Prediction Center has central Minnesota in the marginal risk for severe weather Wednesday, and a slight risk for Thursday.
If you have outdoor plans, forecasters say to make alternate plans, have a way to get warnings and know where you can seek shelter.
