(KNSI) – The fishing pier at Two Rivers Lake County Park is closed for repairs. Officials recommend Lake Koronis Regional Park, Lake Sylvia Wayside, or Warner Lake County Park as alternatives.
Each of those sites is a significant drive from the site near Holdingford. Anglers can expect to be on the road for around 40 miles to reach the substitute docks. Located on the border of Krain and Holding Townships, the park is in the northern half of the county. The others are well to the south from Paynesville to Clearwater.
At this time there is no estimate for when repairs at Two Rivers Lake will be completed. The rest of the park is open. It is 56 acres, including forest and prairie. It was initially bought by Stearns County in 1977 and further developed in 2009.
