(KNSI) – The Kiwanis Club of Saint Cloud is looking to get kids of all stripes involved in a family-friendly parade over Memorial Day Weekend. The event kicks off at Heritage Park near the Stearns History Museum at 10:00 AM. The facility is located at 235 33rd Avenue South.
You can walk on two legs, roll on two wheels…or three…or even four. Kiwanis is billing the event as the Bike, Trike, Wagon Walk and Roll Parade. Participation is free for everyone who shows up. Kids can win a host of prizes, including bike helmets and coloring books.
The Sauk Rapids Color Guard will add some festiveness to the parade. Kids will have the chance to interact with personnel from the Saint Cloud fire and police departments.
Everything will be wrapped up by 11:30 AM, but parade participants will enjoy free admission to the museum afterward.
