(KNSI) – The Stearns County Highway Department has scheduled an open house for Thursday, May 12th, to get input on planned improvements to a Sartell intersection. Officials are looking for public comment on the crossing of County Highways 4 and 133.
CSAH 133 connects Interstate 94 in Saint Joseph with US-10 between Sauk Rapids and Rice in Benton County. The Highway Department wants to realign it just east of the intersection in question. The end goal is to have a route that runs from 19th Avenue South to Theisen Road.
The meeting is expected to last from 5:30-7:30 PM. It will be held in Waite Park at the Public Works Building at 455 28th Avenue South. The department hopes to have the final report completed by September.
