(KNSI) — For the second time in as many days, Warner Lake County Park will be closed part of the day Thursday for a prescribed burn.
The park was closed Wednesday for several hours, and officials with the Stearns County Parks Department say they’re conducting another to help with various land management goals. Prescribed burning is a tool used by resource managers for that purpose.
Stearns County Parks will be conducting prescribed burns in a few parks this spring. Weather conditions determine the dates and times.
