(KNSI) — Tuesday, May 3rd is Teacher Appreciation Day. There are freebies, deals, and goodies for educators Tuesday and for some businesses, all week long.
These deals can vary by location, so check ahead of time. Most spots also require proof like a school ID.
Stuff:
Teachers can get 5% off once a month for a limited time at Dollar General via a coupon on the app for the entire year.
Michaels has a teacher discount of 15% on an entire purchase, including sale items.
Office Depot and OfficeMax offer teachers 20% off a qualifying regularly priced purchase and 20% back in rewards, up to $50.
Teachers with Classroom Rewards through Staples will get 20% back in rewards and up to 5% in rewards for themselves. Some exclusions may apply. Also, while supplies last at Staples, teachers can get a free gift box.
Food:
Buffalo Wild Wings is offering teachers and school staff 20% off dine-in and in-store pay pickup orders through Friday, May 6th.
Teachers can get a free, one-topping mini sundae from Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. The offer is valid for dine-in or drive-thru orders until May 6th.
Insomnia Cookies has an offer of a free six-pack of cookies with a $5 in-store purchase through 3:00 a.m. May 7th.
McDonald’s and Chick-fil-A also offer deals and goodies but at a local level. Check the McDonald’s app and the local Chick-fil-A Facebook page for the latest.
