(KNSI) – St. Cloud will celebrate the grand opening of a community center for veterans with a block party. On Saturday, May 7th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., 3rd Street will be closed between 15th and 16th Avenue North.
The block party will include refreshments, ribbon cutting, building tours and music.
The 5 Star Community Center is a joint venture between the St. Cloud Police Department, St. Cloud Stand Down and Disabled American Veterans. The community center is in the 1500-block of 3rd Street North.
