Walk to Combat Sex Trafficking Saturday, April 30th

(KNSI) — Shear Dynamics Salon of Waite Park is hosting the fourth annual A Walk Together – Uniting Against Sex Trafficking event Saturday, April 30th.

Participants will stroll along a three-mile course starting at the salon to raise awareness for the work of the Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center. All proceeds go to the organization. Last year, the total came to just under $31,000.

When walkers return from the event route, Shear Dynamics will be hosting educational booths about the center, along with live music. You can take part alone or as part of a team. The largest registered group wins a $500 gift card.
