(KNSI) – It was a historic regular season for the Saint Cloud Norsemen, but the team has eyes on more. Last weekend, Saint Cloud notched a franchise-record 41st win, leading to a Central Division championship. Forward Ryan O’Neill had four assists against the Northern Iowa Bulls, clinching the North American Hockey League’s scoring title on the season’s final night.
Now the goal shifts to hoisting the Robertson Cup for the first time. There are four rounds of postseason play, beginning with a best-of-five series in the division semifinals. St. Cloud is the one seed and they host the Bismarck Bobcats for two games this weekend at the Municipal Athletic Complex.
Friday and Saturday’s contests begin at 7:00 PM. Tickets are only five dollars and the first 400 fans who show up to the game Friday get a free t-shirt. The full schedule for the series is below.
