(KNSI) — The woman whose body was found in Watab Township is a 44-year-old from Royalton.
Just before 8:00 a.m. March 31st, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call of someone lying on the ice in the Harris Channel area of the Mississippi River. The sheriff’s office, Sauk Rapids police, Rice police, and Mayo Ambulance found Hannah Hale, who had already died.
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s office is working to determine the cause and manner of Hale’s death. Foul play is not suspected.
