(KNSI) — Utility work is returning to Cooper Avenue South beginning on Monday. When crews are present, it will be down to one direction between Linda Lane and 17th Street South, controlled by flagging operations.
Delays are expected and commuters are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is not scheduled to be completed until May 2nd, with that date subject to change depending on the weather.
Cooper Avenue South has seen utility work or tree removal affect traffic three other times since October. A $6.1 million construction project is scheduled for later this year affecting the same stretch of road.
