(KNSI) – A company that recently donated a million rounds of ammunition to the Ukrainian war effort has been named one of the most trusted by Newsweek magazine. Vista Outdoor in Anoka, owners of brands such as Federal Premium Ammunition, were on the list released earlier this week.
Vista Outdoor Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications Fred Ferguson says the company is honored and says the credit goes to the workers.
“There’s a major surge in outdoor activity and our people have allowed us to keep up with that demand and so I think the any award that we get really the credit goes to the employees in the workforce because they make all this possible.”
Ferguson says part of the company’s success is because of what they make and the culture.
“The award is a reflection of our culture. We’re an outdoor company. We’ve got 39 brands in the portfolio and we really kind of have the best job you can have. Which is, we make really fun products. It really creates a pretty dynamic, enjoyable, fun, interesting culture.”
