(KNSI) — Boy Scout Troop 211 in Sartell is headed to Dallas for the VEX Robotics worldwide competition in May.

The robotics team is the only Boy Scout troop in Minnesota to get an invitation to the tournament. According to a press release, Boy Scout Troop 211’s robotics team is made up of four boys ages 12 and 13.

According to Troop 211’s fundraising chairperson Heather Imdieke, the tournament will cost the pack roughly $2000 per person. As a result, the troop is looking for service projects to raise funds. Businesses or individuals with project ideas are asked to contact Heather by email (hmenglar@yahoo.com) or phone (612-481-2694).
