(KNSI) – The Sauk Rapids-Rice High School principal is leaving the district to take a job with CentraCare Health in St. Cloud. Principal Karl Nohner was offered and has accepted a job as the Workforce Development Program Manager at CentraCare.
Nohner began his career in the Sauk Rapids-Rice Public School District in 2009 as a teacher. Nohner has been part of the Sauk Rapids-Rice administrative team for the past 6 ½ years, including the past four years as principal at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School.
According to the district, Nohner has demonstrated steadfast leadership and strong advocacy for academics and partnerships with students, families, and staff throughout his tenure at Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools. The district thanks Nohner for his dedicated service and wishes him and his family the best in this future opportunity.
Principal Nohner’s final day at Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools will be April 15. Assistant Principals Sandy Logrono and Steve Wagner will take on Principal Nohner’s responsibilities and act as co-principals for the remainder of the 2021 – 2022 school year.
