(KNSI) – The 10th annual St. Cloud Craft Beer Tour winners were crowned on Saturday.
The 2022 Brewers Cup winner was Just Freakin Peachy Peach Cobbler Sour, made by Thousand Lakes Brewing Company in Parkers Prairie. The brewers’ cup is voted during the V.I.P hour of the craft beer tour.
The Best Beer award went to Big Axe Brewing Company in Nisswa for its Cherry Almond Smoothie Sour. The best breweries awards went to Bad Habit Brewing Company in St. Joseph and Back Shed Brewing in Waite Park. The Best Cidery winner was Brookview Winery in Milaca.
The winners were selected from nearly 50 beverage makers who brought more than 200 different drinks for people to try.
The event also raised funds for the Nicholas P. Koenig H.E.R.O Foundation. The Richmond-based non-
profit raises money for families affected by pediatric cancer.
If you missed Saturday’s event, don’t worry, you’ll have a chance to taste more brews during St. Cloud’s Craft Beer and Ciderfeast in September.
