(KNSI) – After more than two decades of service, a St. Cloud firefighter is hanging up his hat.
St. Cloud Fire Department Battalion Chief Jerry Raymond retired on Thursday after a 22-year career with the SCFD. A ceremony was held with the mayor and members of the fire department.
According to St. Cloud Minnesota Firefighters Local 464, Raymond served with dedication and selflessness. Officials say he was a mentor and leader to the department.
The fire department wishes Raymond a long and healthy retirement.
