(KNSI) — The City of Waite Park will be getting a new snowplow after the council approved the purchase this week.
The truck itself will cost around $89,000, the plow will be about $16,500, and other equipment will cost $112,000. The city will pay for it over the course of two years, but the truck won’t be ready for this plowing season, or perhaps even next plowing season.
The city says it will take some time to order the parts and outfit the truck, so the target date for it to hit the streets is in time for winter 2023.
