(KNSI) – The 21st annual Charity Challenge has reached its halfway point.
The Norman C. Skalicky Foundation, in partnership with the Central Minnesota Community Foundation, hosts the annual Charity Challenge. The fundraiser helps benefit the Catholic Charities, Salvation Army and St. Joseph Food Shelves. This year’s goal is to beat last year’s total of $625,000.
The Norman C. Skalicky Foundation will match any donation up to $100,000.
Since 2000, the fundraiser has contributed over $4.9 million to support local food shelves. If you are interested in making a donation, contributions should be sent directly to any of the eligible food shelves to the attention of “Food Shelf Charity Challenge”.
