(KNSI) – The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force says two people are under arrest after they executed a search warrant at a home in Gillman this week.

Investigators learned that two people inside the home were suspected of selling methamphetamine around the area. During the execution of the search warrant, investigators located three people inside the home. As they entered, police say they found two of the suspects trying to flush suspected methamphetamine down the toilet.

Investigators located over 50 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a small amount of suspected THC products, a small amount of suspected marijuana and suspected psilocybin mushrooms. Also found were ammunition and approximately $16,000.00 that is believed to be proceeds from suspected drug sales.

A 65-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman, both of Gilman, were transported to Benton County Jail and booked for first-degree possession of controlled substance, fifth-degree possession of controlled substance, felon in possession of ammunition, and obstructing legal process.
