(KNSI) — CentraCare St. Cloud is being recognized for its commitment to employee health and well-being by the American Heart Association through its 2021 Workplace Health Achievement Index.
According to a press release from the American Heart Association, the Workplace Health Achievement Index is a free web-based scorecard that looks at organizational best practices and aggregates employee health data to evaluate workplace health programs’ overall quality and comprehensiveness.
CentraCare was recognized at the gold level for its score based on self-assessment for best practices evaluating its workplace health program’s culture, structure, processes, and outcomes. They were also recognized for access to expert resources to understand what works in workplace health, implementing change, measuring improvements, and progress updates. CentraCare was also tops in recognizing and rewarding achievement and reviewing data insights and outcomes.
The release says more than 450 organizations completed the index assessment between July 31st, 2020, and June 30th, 2021.
The American Heart Association created the Index in 2016 with its CEO Roundtable, a leadership collaborative of more than 45 members from some of America’s largest companies, to apply evidence-based approaches to support employee health.
