(KNSI) – The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office has announced the winners of its holiday greeting card contest. First place went to 9-year-old Emma Sonsalla for her drawing of a sheriff’s star above decorated Christmas trees.
The runners-up were 9-year-old Kinsley Roelike and 10-year-old Monroe Anderson.
Kids ages 12 and under were asked to submit their drawings to create an image for the front of the department’s greeting card that will be mailed out to other law enforcement agencies, sponsors and various officials. The original artwork needed to have a winter-themed picture that incorporates the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office somehow.
This was the sheriff’s office first greeting card design contest.
