(KNSI) — A grant program that will provide money to nonprofits dealing with financial fallout due to the COVID-19 pandemic has been approved by the Sherburne County Board of Commissioners.

Organizations that provide child care programs, housing services, jobs, mental health services, and social services can all apply for the Community Resource Recovery Grant. They can apply to receive up to $20,000 in one-time grant money.

Eligible applicants must show at least a 20% financial impact that is directly related to COVID-19 and the ensuing public health crisis. Applications must be in by December 31st, 2021.
