(KNSI) — A 61-year-old Backus man is under arrest after a drug investigation allegedly turned up more than 26 grams of methamphetamine.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says they were conducting an ongoing drug investigation, leading them to a Backus home on November 20th. A search warrant was executed at the home where police say drug paraphernalia and other items of drug activity and drug sales were found. A press release from the sheriff’s office does not say what those items were, and a criminal complaint has not been filed.
The man at the home was taken into custody. Formal charges of first-degree drug possession and sales are pending.
KNSI does not typically name suspects until they have been formally charged.
